On March 19, 2025, Innovate Iloilo, together with UMWAD Western Visayas, DOST Region VI, FyrLab Accelerator, participated in an industry meeting with Geco Asia Pte. Ltd. to explore strategic partnerships with State Universities and Colleges (SUCs).

The discussion focused on initiatives such as hackathons for college students, designed to cultivate innovation, enhance IT competencies, and bridge young talent with opportunities in the startup and technology sectors.
