ILOILO CITY, Philippines – May 2025— From quiet potential to global recognition, Iloilo City has officially entered the global tech map. In a landmark achievement, Iloilo has secured the 744th spot in the 2025 Global Startup Ecosystem Index published by StartupBlink, the world’s most comprehensive startup ecosystem ranking platform.

This is the first time Iloilo has entered the global rankings, making it one of only six Philippine cities in the Top 1,000 startup ecosystems worldwide. The city also ranked 5th nationally, behind Metro Manila (112th), Cebu (469th), Davao (580th), and Cagayan de Oro (693rd), while ahead of Naga (767th).
