The Innovate Iloilo Multi-Stakeholders Meeting and Milestone-Setting, titled “Innovate Iloilo: Strengthening Innovation Leadership and Continuity — Assessing Milestones, Refining Priorities, Moving Forward Together,” was successfully conducted on January 20, 2026, at Seda Hotel. The activity brought together Innovate Iloilo partners and stakeholders, members of the Iloilo Innovation Council, innovation champions, technology business incubators (TBIs), NGOs, and universities from both the City and Province of Iloilo.
The meeting served as a formal platform to present and reflect on the accomplishments of the Innovate Iloilo Project over the past 18 months, anchored on the Innovate Iloilo Roadmap 2023–2030. Implemented programs and initiatives across the different roadmap pillars were presented, allowing stakeholders to assess progress against defined targets, milestones, and performance indicators.
Through structured discussions, participants reviewed the relevance of existing goals and identified priority areas requiring refinement or adjustment in response to evolving development needs. The activity enabled evidence-based decision-making and reinforced a shared understanding of the project’s strategic direction moving forward.
Beyond milestone assessment, the meeting facilitated strategic dialogue on strengthening collaboration, governance, and coordination among ecosystem stakeholders. Key action points were identified to support improved implementation alignment, clearer governance mechanisms, and the sustained continuity of Innovate Iloilo initiatives.
A major highlight of the activity was the formal induction of selected members of the Innovate Iloilo Innovation Council. The inducted members officially assumed their roles, providing leadership, governance, and oversight in advancing the council’s mandates and supporting the long-term objectives of the Innovate Iloilo Roadmap.
Overall, the activity reinforced institutional continuity, strengthened innovation leadership, and affirmed the collective commitment of stakeholders to advancing innovation-driven development in Iloilo. The meeting marked an important step in ensuring that Innovate Iloilo’s initiatives remain strategic, collaborative, and responsive to the region’s long-term growth aspirations.
