The Western Visayas Innovative Startup Fest 2025 sparked excitement right from the start with a dynamic press conference on September 16 at the Iloilo Convention Center. Far from being a simple opening, the presscon became a stage where innovation leaders and changemakers shared bold visions for the region’s startup future.
Carrying the theme “Shaping a Vibrant Future for the Region’s Startup Ecosystem,” the press conference gathered top government officials, startup enablers, and members of the press, all eager to explore how Western Visayas can continue to grow as a hub of entrepreneurship and creativity.
One of the biggest highlights was the launch of the Regional Action Plan for Startup Development 2025–2030—a forward-looking roadmap designed to empower entrepreneurs, bridge opportunities, and fuel long-term growth for startups in the region.
