11 October 2024 — Innovate Iloilo visited two smart project sites: Herbanext Laboratory, Inc. in Bago City, Negros Occidental, and DragonDrone Showroom and Headquarters in Brgy. Tangub, Bacolod City, to learn about and support the development of smart farming methods in the region. By observing these innovative technologies in action, the group gained valuable insights into how smart agriculture can be implemented and improved in Western Visayas. This will be a great help in developing a plan for smart agriculture.
The visit was jointly organized by the Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee (RRDIC) and the Economic Development Committee (EDC).
